We heard again this week. What do they want? Six more months? How long have we been hearing this call for six more months? Repeat it with me now: Too long!

Almost $500 billion spent on this war, and while many of us were saying five years ago that this would only amplify the wars we’re seeing here at home–economic, social and otherwise–and devastate our relationships internationally, here we are, five years later, and the country is on fire, saying “no more!”

We need a new day–a new day for our economy. A new day for our families, A new day for our environment, for our jobs, our loved ones, our health, our dreams.

What we don’t need is another six months of the same. What we don’t need is another six months.
