I want to hold this feeling for *at least* one day.

No punditry. No analyzing the Jewish vote. Not today.

Just pure, no holds bar pride in the sweeping landslide of the U.S. calling for hope and change, in electing Barack Obama, President of the United States. And don’t sleep on Michelle Obama!

That the electoral map transformed, that red state after red state flipped — that we watched people all over this country flood the streets, cheering and weeping in the joy of change. That we joined in the nation’s resounding call in electing the first Black president, I live in incredible awe of this moment. These are the times. I’ve never felt so proud of the people of this country, in truly renewing our call. I’m so proud. Last night deserves the highest of celebrations, and our work, our work for change will continue on.
