If y’all don’t know this yet, in the media biz, there are “seven dirty words,” that you aren’t allowed to use as part of what the Federal Communications Commission calls “indecency regulations” in American broadcasting. The late comedian George Carlin was well known for his monologue “Filthy Words,” which added fuel to the fire, and subsequent legal actions and rebuttals between the FCC and Pacifica Radio, which broadcasted the segment uncensored in 1973.
