I am terrified for the future of Judaism, because of how little awareness I see of this. The degree to which we have been blinded by our own zealousness. 

I posted a far less coherent (or punctuated, or capitalized) rant/plea/frustrated diatribe trying to articulate much of what you&#039;ve said here. I was actually terrified of the responses I&#039;d receive, and with only one or two exceptions, it&#039;s been greeted with appreciation (it&#039;s posted on my linked blog, but also on facebook, which is where most of the commentary came from). And it is that, the reminder that there is a community of us who sense this misdirection, that keeps my hope alive.</description>
